What got slapped 12 months ago - 10/30/11

This week was a busy one for us last year. There was a lot happening with getting a new writer, and other exciting news which I will get to very shortly. If you can't wait then click here for the archive link, or just keep reading and eventually I will get around to re-slapping the news from 12 months ago.

Sit down, shut up and brace yourself for a roller coaster ride through recent history which will leave you breathless and wanting more.

As usual we start with Brad's dissection of the new CD releases of the week and he does a great job of tearing into Susan Boyle, Miranda Lambert and Justin Bieber to name a few.

Following on from that we have the Lohan family, who must be one of the most famous dysfunctional families who do not yet have their own reality TV show.

Then we posted about a momentous momentary moment for our site; the addition of a new writer. Menaj Attwar was brought on board for his dry wit and movie knowledge.

One of the most surprising stories of the year was the failure of an obviously mismatched celebrity wedding. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries called it quits after only 10 1/2 weeks.

How could we follow that? With Menaj's first movie review X-Men:First Class.

Then some hot chick reviewed the previous year's stories just like I am doing now.

Closing out the week were 2 Twilight posts introducing our readers to a crazy, supernatural world of bad writing and bad acting. Twilight for beginners is a self explanatory headline for the first one and the follow up post is an introduction to one of the stars, Robert Pattinson.
