Some of you may already know who she is, but for the rest of you, here is a brief introduction to the phenomenon that is Honey Boo Boo.

Honey Boo Boo is the kennel name of Alana Thompson, a precocious 6 year old 'pageant princess' from redneck rural Georgia. Here Comes HBB is a TLC spin-off from their 'hit' show, Toddlers & Tiaras, featuring the mouth from the south, Honey Boo Boo and her enabling parents, June Shannon and Mike Thompson, as well as her three older (and fatter) sisters.
The reality cameras follow HBB and her family around, documenting their redneck charming southern behavior like making Sketti (spaghetti), which is noodles covered with a ketchup and butter sauce.
HBB has received way too much media attention recently since TLC picked the family up for another season and gave them a whopping bonus check. The sassy lil' missy has appeared on numerous TV shows this month and has brought much laughter with her as people point and laugh at her and ask themselves why her parents let her behave that way?

The simple answer is that while we continue to watch these shows, production companies will continue to make them and pay the 'stars' obscene amounts of money to keep on doing what they are doing. How dumb are we getting to allow this kind of drivel onto our TV screens?
Quite honestly, the time has come to say "Enough Honey Boo Boo"

Honey Boo Boo is walking on thin ice with her public endorsement of Barack Obama in the strongly republican, gun carrying state of Georgia.
She has even gone on record suggesting he change his name to Barack OBooBoo and I heard she even calls him Brown SugarBear.
I would say we should kill the little cow, but I fear that her family would pick up her limp lifeless body, smother it in ketchup and eat it, like they do with roadkill.
Who is enabling whom, again?
