North Korea Crisis Heightens

+Brad Naylor

North Korea have had a bug up their butt since 2010 when they lost horribly in the Soccer World Cup. They threatened nuclear attack on the US/South Korea war games after exiting after some embarrassing double digit defeats. They have recently been flexing their military muscle by parading their nuclear missile launchers and tanks around the streets Pyongyang like some kind of Thanksgiving Day Procession.

Minnesota Twins Schedule 2013

"What's a nice Georgia girl like you doing posting a Minnesota Twins schedule?" I hear you asking. Well when your 3 blog buddies live in Minnesota and your baseball team is way superior, it seems to be a natural thing to do. Right!?

Honestly, I don't know a great deal about baseball, but I do know that the Twins are coming  into the new season with little chance of winning a World Series, and will probably finish below .500 for the season. Which for those of you who know less than I do, means that they will lose more games than they win. Below is the modified schedule for the Twins for the 2013 season highlighting who will beat the Twins this year.

Easter - the true origin

+Brad Naylor

For about 2,000 years Christians across the globe have celebrated Easter on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. The date changes every year based on solar and lunar activity, which all seems very Pagan to me.

Skyfall - Worst Bond Movie Ever

Last week, I finally caught up with the latest Bond movie, 'Skyfall'. Skyfall is the 25th James Bond movie (including the 2 non-bonds, the original spoof Casino Royale and the Thunderball remake, Never Say Never Again).

What did we miss?

Being gone for 3 months (good to be back, BTW) means that there was a lot of news that went unslapped during our extended absence. Or was there? I have been thinking hard for the last 15 minutes of all the major news stories that have happened since Mid December and I can only think of a handful of tales worthy of recapping and slapping.

Dear Tina welcomes your questions

Dear Tina
It is good to be back after our little break. Nothing like 3 months off to recharge the batteries. For those of you who don't yet know me;
Hi, my name is Tina and amongst other things, I am an expert advice giver. If you need proof then click here to see the STP advice archive. I am not just one of those 'relationship advisers' even though the bulk of questions which come my way are of a sexual/relationship nature.

We're getting the band back together

Regular readers, especially the more astute of you, may have noticed that the Slap the Penguin Virtual Office has been somewhat quiet during the winter months. There are many reasons for this extended break and we are not going to share any of them with you. The official reason is hibernation.
