NC man jailed after laughing

Freedom of speech (and laughing) is not valid in some areas of North Carolina. Paricularly in Judge Toni King's Cumberland County courtroom.

Johnny Montgomery, 47, started laughing while waiting for his case to be heard and refused to share the joke with Judge King when asked. So he was ordered to be taken to jail.

Incidentaly, the deputies found 3 grams of crack cocaine in his pocket while preparing him for jail. [Ed- What does 'preparing him for jail mean'? It sounds rude]

It was later revealed that he was joking with his buddy via text message about being in court with 3 grams of drugs in his pocket.
