Friday 13th part VII

By +Alexa Rankin

This Friday 13th came round really quickly. It seems like only last month that Sue was inducted into the series of STP F13 posts. Essentially what we do for our F13 posts is regurgitate the same old story, but with a slightly different theme.

Do you know how hard it is to come up with new (borrowed) ideas for a leading image? It's not easy and sometimes it feels like we don't get paid enough for the effort we put in. Oops, I digress.

For those of you who are new, or forgetful, every Friday 13th we come up with an interesting variation on the much overused theme of Friday 13th. You can see from our archives that the ideas are already running thin after being reused and recycled for 6 previous posts.

For many years, people have been superstitious regarding Friday 13th, and quite rightly. It's a scary day when everybody's worst nightmares come true. The avoidance of black cats, cracks on the street, and ladders is strongly recommended since these otherwise innocuous items become extremely hazardous on Friday 13th.

For those with severe cases of Friday13th-itis, the best answer is to stay in bed until after noon, when all Friday 13th threats become nullified. (or is that April Fool's Day?) The other thing you can do to reduce the ill effects of Friday 13th is embrace Sunday 7th, the natural antidote to Friday 13th. For more information on Sunday 7th click HERE.

The next 'Sunday 7th' is on June 7th 2015 so get ready to kick those black cats that you have been avoiding until now.

Your turn... What's the worst thing that you have experienced on a Friday 13th? Are you superstitious about any other days or dates? Share your Friday 13th stories in our comments section below.
