Happy Thanksgiving 2013

Today is the 392nd anniversary of the first Thanksgiving celebration which happened back in 1621. It is also the 4th anniversary of us at Slap the Penguin wishing our readers a Happy Thanksgiving. Over the years we have approached the celebration in slightly different ways, but the message has always been the same.

He hasn't heard of bacon wrapped turkey with bacon stuffing?

I decided to take inspiration from Alexa's post from last year and publish a summary of the things that we are grateful for this year. It will be interesting to see what has changed and what hasn't over the last 12 months.

Without mentioning any names, Family and Alcohol made a glorious return from last year, as did the internet but Funyuns, facebook and Magic Mike dropped off the radar entirely. They were replaced by cake donuts, twitter and Adam Levine.

What we at STP are thankful for

Unfortunately our graphics department did not get the image proofed before taking the day off for Thanksgiving so we are stuck with Adam Levin instead of Adam Levine, sorry Alexa.
