Canadian crooner Justin Drew Bieber swept the Grammy Awards last Sunday night.

Sorry Justin, but the only sweeping you will ever do at the Grammys is sweeping the floor after the real musicians have gone home.
He was nominated for both Best Pop Vocal Album (My World 2.0) and Best New Artist and faced stiff competition in both categories.

Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster beat out Bieber's effort for the Best Pop award and much to everyone's surprise, virtual unknown, Jazz Bassist Esperanza Spalding ran away with Best New Artist. And she had better keep running, the Bieberettes are out for blood.

I didn't watch the Grammys but I was very happy to see that JB didn't win anything ;-)
Quite honestly, he has a few years left in order to get that elusive Grammy and restore order in the ranks of the Beliebers.
