What got slapped 12 months ago - February 2014

By +Tina Cruris

Happy February everyone. By now you should all know what a reslap is. It's a chance for us to look back and enjoy what was getting slapped this time last year. I have taken some time to review February 2014, to see what our funniest and most popular posts were.

Listed below are the top 5 posts from yesteryear, with a brief introduction to tempt you into learning more. Just click the title of any story you want to read and you will be automagically whisked to a new page with that story on your screen. Or you can use the archive in the right hand side bar, scroll down and you will see it.

#5 The Tightest Slot in Vegas
Ian C reported on one of Las Vegas' most unexpected attractions, a slot machine which has never paid out it's progressive jackpot - EVER. (Spoiler alert: since that post was published, the machine spat out it's 2.4 million jackpot, but the original post is still worth reading.)

Back in February 2014, we published a guest post from Brian Drews as part of our Guest Post Contest. Little did we know that a comparison of 2 great 'ballers would generate so much interest. Find out who was better by clicking the header.

While the year of release was slightly ambitious, the rest of the headline is accurate. We also stand by the content of the post. Read our pre-release post and then watch the movie to see how accurate our information is. Caution SPOILER ALERT, possibly.

#2 Where are they now? Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
As part of our recurring "Where are they now?" series, Alexa reports on the first Bill and Ted movie and it's actors to find out what they are up to 25 years later. Any guesses before you click the link?

Bruno Mars was hot news 12 months ago, fresh from the success of his Super Bowl half time show, but nobody expected our revelation about his real parents. If you skipped past the montage image above and didn't read the post when it was published then click the header to find out who they are.

That's it. The Top 5 posts from this time last year. Was one of them your favorite? Either way let us know by leaving us a comment. If you want a refresher of all the posts from February 2014 then click here.
