He looked like the love child of Elton John and Big Bird while trying to upstage Lady Gaga at the Grammy Awards.
Thomas DeCarlo Callaway was born in 1974 and changed his name to Cee Lo in honor of his hero Jennifer 'J-Lo' Lopez.
Cee Lo was struggling as a solo artist when he met up with musician/producer Danger Mouse and they formed Gnarls Barkley. Cee Lo was initially unaware of the phonic similarity as well as his physical resemblance to basketball star Charles Barkley.

Cee Lo was still not getting the attention his Diva ego was craving so he recorded 'Fuck You' a song inspired by Cee Lo's favorite movie, The Wizard of Oz. It was an instant hit due to the fact that it was banned by every single radio station on the planet and went viral on the internet. He recorded a radio edit called 'Forget You'

What's next for Cee Lo? Nothing. He will ride the 'Fuck You' wave until it crashes and then fade back into semi obscurity.
