I know what you are thinking, the Margarita is not a new cocktail, it was invented in 1938 by Carlos Herrera in his Rancho La Gloria restaurant for one of of his showgirls who was allergic to all other spirts besides Tequila. Actually there are a number of similar but differing origin stories for a Margarita, but that's the MCU multiverse for you. Anyway, back to the point; this drink is a MAGArita and it is new.

| A new cocktail called a Magarita |
So what is different about this new cocktail, it looks and sounds like a regular Margarita. Well first off this is an American Cocktail, with all American ingredients. I understand that Tequila is technically only made in Mexico, but we are using USA made Floridian agave spirit and calling it Tequila. The limes are from Florida too, much limier than the South American version.
- 2 oz USA made unaged Tequila - the younger and fresher the better
- 1 oz freshly squeezed US lime juice
- 1 oz orange liqueur - if you can't find a US brand just pick whichever of these you can pronounce correctly (or not) - Cointreau, Grand Marnier, Orange CuraƧao
- A splash of simple syrup, the simpler the better
- Rim and Garnish - coarse salt and a lime wedge. A good rimming can make all the difference
- Orange Kool-Aid for color
