How Trump fixed the Super Bowl

By +Titan Young

This is Brad and I don't know a lot about sports, but I do know someone who does, and he has written a guest post for us. The opinions expressed below are entirely those of my friend and work colleague Titan Young.

Last Sunday, we saw one of the most exciting, one of the most unexpected, and one of the most heartbreaking Superbowl games of all time as Tom Brady's Patriots came back from a 25 point deficit to tie the game and claim an overtime victory. The result was so unbelievable that even Marty McFly thought that there was a typo in his Sports Almanac as the teams went in at half time.

Facts are starting to come about that President Trump tweeted to the Falcons at half time using one or more of his alternate accounts, with news that gave them a big enough reason to not score many more points in the second half.

Michael Sam is now a Ram

Hey gang, this is Brad introducing my good friend Titan Young with another awesome guest post.

It took me ages to come up with that headline which is why this story is so late getting to you guys. So Michael Sam was drafted and the NFL was saved from a potential anti-gay backlash. It took 249 out of the 256 picks for it to happen but Michael Sam is now proud to be a St. Louis Ram. And there is already a book about his exploits.

Are you out of your Viking mind?

Here is a guest post from our friend Titan Young who has been an infrequent contributor in the past. This is not an official entry for our Guest Post contest but we are using it to highlight the fact that the contest is running and that we are inviting our readers to enter. [DETAILS]

Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier was fired this week on what has become known in the NFL as Black Monday, the Monday following the last game of the regular season. Frazier was let go despite a 100% win record for the final week of the 2013 season. Overall this season the Vikings finished with a 5-10-1 season and Frazier had a record with the Vikings of 21-33-1.

Tim Tebow released from Patriots

by +Titan Young

This is Titan Young with another guest post through my penguin slapping buddy, Brad.

Tim Tebow was once a high profile quarterback for the Denver Broncos, where he broke all manner of franchise records including most prayers in a single quarter. He became a household name because of his high profile Christianity and 'Tebowing' before each game. To him, taking a knee meant something entirely different.

Donovan McNabb announces retirement

by +Titan Young

Hi readers, my name is Titan Young, and I am writing a guest sports post here on Slap the Penguin. This is like an audition for me so please comment and let the bosses know what you think. Thanks.

Ex-Minnesota Viking quarterback, Donovan McNabb, has announced that he is retiring from professional football this season, and he will be doing it as a Philadelphia Eagle, which is how he started his NFL career. He led the Eagles to a handful of NFC championship games and a Superbowl (2004) during his time with them.
