Walmart take up slack on Ivanka Trump clothing lines

Ivanka Trump's foray into fashion has almost been derailed as a number of key retailers dropped her clothing lines from their stores. Nordstrom led the charge, much to the chagrin of Donald Trump, who went as far as using his position of power to slam them for treating her "so unfairly". The list of stores who have removed at least some Trump lines from their portfolio now includes Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Belk, Jet, ShopStyle, Burlington, Sears, and Kmart.

Never one to miss out on an opportunity, Walmart have signed a deal with Ivanka to carry her Spring, Summer and Fall lines for 2017 with an option on the Winter fashions. While Walmart already sell her items online through their Partner Portal, whereby they act as a trusted marketplace for select retailers to peddle their goods for a commission, they are yet to carry her items in their stores.

Ivanka's clothing, jewelry and shoes will start getting shoplifted grace Walmart's in-store displays from March 13th although we have not yet heard whether they will be carrying the same price tags that previous retailers were charging. Nor have we had it confirmed that the same lines will be on offer to Walmart as were kicked out of all those other stores.

The people who frequent Walmart are known across the internet for their sartorial elegance and their unique fashion statements, so this partnership looks like a match made in heaven. So much so that we doubt that you, our humble reader could spot the difference between 'Ivanka at Walmart' and 'The People of Walmart'?
