What got slapped 12 months ago - 6/18/11

Hello again, it must be a new week already because I am recapping what happened this time last year. We do this in order to encourage you to visit our archives and spend some time exploring the site. There is some funny stuff in here, I promise.

As usual, the unguided tour is here, for everyone else, just sit back and let Tina guide you...

The first post from this week last year was a 'Dear Tina' all about gifts for Father's Day, and what father would not be pleased with the gift of a multitool?

Following on from that was the exciting contest between Michael 'Bubes' Bublé and Derrick, for the title of 'The Most Interesting Man In The World'. At the time of writing the story, Bubes was a guest contributor to our site and we supported his challenge to be TMIMITW.

Are you one of those people who holds up the line in a store by insisting on paying with the exact change, in pennies? Either way, you may find the tale of Jason West interesting because he chose to pay a bill entirely in pennies.

Finally, from 1 year ago, El Brad Pitt was arrested in Mexico on drug charges. I know, shocking right. Follow the link for the full story.

As usual, I implore you to utilize the comments section. It makes us feel special when somebody takes the time to actually let us know how we are doing.

Also, please help me with our somewhat undersubscribed 'Dear Tina' feature. I am STP's advice queen and I can help with any issues, big or small. They don't have to be relationship issues either. Anything goes. Email tina.cruris@slapthepenguin.com and let me share my wisdom with you and all our other readers.

Thanks for reading.

By the way, these things down here share this page with other people, through Facebook and Twitter and Google+. If you like what we are doing but not enough to leave a comment then use them instead.
