I am honored to be writing this year's Thanksgiving post, or at least I thought I was until I reviewed the previous year's posts. It seems that Ian C doesn't take our beloved holiday as seriously as those who were actually born in this country.

Happy Thanksgiving? - A matter of perspective |
Previous Thanksgiving posts, both written by non-American penguin slapper, Ian C., include "Happy Turkey Day" from 2010 and "Happy Thanksgiving" from 2011. Both of which seemingly fail to encapsulate the true feeling of tradition and familyness of the event, so this year I aim to put things right.
For me, Thanksgiving is about spending time with my family and thinking about all the things we are thankful for. Just as the New England pilgrims showed their thanks to the native Americans for sharing their turkey dinner and playing some backyard football (incidentally, New England beat the Redskins 27-17).
I asked around the STP office what the crew were all thankful for and I was surprised by some of their answers, which included beer, family, facebook, Magic Mike, the internet and funyuns.
This is your chance to use the comments section to share what you are thankful for.
