Yesterday was national Martini day and in typical reflex style we are a day late with a post which (almost) ties in to that. We have the ultimate recipe to make the ultimate Apple Martini.

| The perfect Apple Martini |
Ingredients:
Ice cubes
2 ounces vodka
1-1/2 ounces sour apple liqueur
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Ice cubes
2 ounces vodka
1-1/2 ounces sour apple liqueur
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Apple slice (optional garnish)
Directions:
Fill a shaker three-fourths full with ice. Add the vodka, apple liqueur and lemon juice. Cover and shake for 10-15 seconds or until condensation forms on outside of shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish as desired.
Warning, care must be taken not to confuse an Apple Martini with an Apple Martin, which is an entirely different product!
Apple Martin
Ingredients:
1 egg (Gwyneth Paltrow brand)
1 teaspoon fresh sperm (Chris Martin flavor)
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a suitably sized womb and let cook for 9 months. Deliver and garnish with hipster clothes.
