After publishing last week's NADSAQ Index, we received an email from somebody telling us that 4 out of the 5 people had nothing to do with NASCAR. He also told us that there was no way that Jimmie Johnson would finish 5th in anything. I suppose it's easy to confuse the two if you're a REDNEQ!

Do you ever get a totally unrelated mental image when someone says a certain word or phrase? I do. There are 2 phrases that spawn a disturbing image in my mind. You can probably guess the first one since it is the title of the post.

Another week of people being nadsaqs and finding themselves on our index. Remember, the index is based on a score from 0-100%. Anyone achieving a score of 100% is a complete nadsaq.

I have absolutely no doubt that if you watch trash TV then you know who Cee Lo Green is. If you don't then here is a picture.

He looked like the love child of Elton John and Big Bird while trying to upstage Lady Gaga at the Grammy Awards.

You may have seen or at least heard of one of the latest viral videos sweeping the internet. Serene Branson was reporting on the 2011 Grammy Awards when suddenly she started blabbering and talking gibberish.

Polydactylism is the medical term for extra fingers or toes or sometimes both. It is a rare condition, but in the case of Le Yati Min it is rare to the extreme. The 16 month old girl from Myanmar has 12 fingers and 14 toes, all of which are functional. Should this be ratified, then she will become the Guinness World Record holder for most extra digits.

Man and Machine were all square after Monday's showcase episode of Jeopardy. Brad Rutter (human) and Watson (computer) ended the show tied at $5,000. The third contestant, Ken Jennings (human) was trailing with a disappointing $2,000.

This is not financial analysis, this is celebrity drama analysis. And NADSAQ is not a typo. We aim to analyze the week's most ridiculous celebrities on a 0-100 percent scale. Anyone scoring 100% is obviously a complete nadsaq.

I finally decided to upgrade my old flip phone for a shiny new smartphone with all the bells and whistles. It plays music and has a slide out keyboard and a touchscreen. It looks really impressive, but so far I have not been able to do anything smart with it. I haven’t figured out how to text and I can't get into my voicemail. I managed to change my wallpaper but it changes back the next day.
The guy in the store said I could sink my email accounts but I don't know what that means. Please help me figure out my phone.

Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
“...to assure so far as possible every working man & woman in the nation safe and healthful working conditions and to preserve our human resources.”
Charles Darwin (CD)
“...to help natural selection by displaying stupidity and naivety in their everyday lives (and deaths) thereby leaving more resources for others.”
With recent suggestions that the model who posed for Leonardo DaVinci's La Giaconda (Mona Lisa) was actually a man and possibly Leo's lover, we uncover some other challenges to established thinking.

The Darwinian evolution of the English language over the past 200 years in isolation from it's source has led to a new language, American English. This language has geographical variations, from the bubble gum blonde Californian to the nasally stressed New Yorker and the y'all drawl of the south.

Philadelphia's resident rodent, Punxsy Phil the groundhog refused to come out of his snow covered tree stump at Gobbler's Knob this morning, creating Groundhog Day confusion about the next six weeks of weather.

February is Facial Hair month, so I have tried really hard to incorporate that into the reviews. Since this involves actually doing research and work, I have only 5 new releases for you.
Also, most of the new releases were pretty bad and I am finding it tough to find nice things to say about them. Nobody ever told me music journalism would be so tough.
